The first day of official summer lived up to its name by providing very warm weather with, at least at the start, very little wind. The riders at the start were lulled into a false sense of here was a perfect day only to find that once on the A4 there was in fact a moderate wind which hindered them to the turn.
Richard Willcox of the Bath RC was the fastest in 25.27 closely followed by Michelle Ayres with 25.59. Making a return to time trialling was John Hoskins of the Westerley RC who was taking time out from his committee duties on the CTT and VTTA. The full result is as follows:
